Shipping Policy

Purpose

The Shipping Policy describes how Tech-Eyes deals with the delivery of purchased products online, beginning from when the products are ordered until they reach the customers. It includes information about shipping locations, order confirmations and dispatches, and what to do in case of unsuccessful delivery attempts or a lost package. It also states the responsibilities of Tech-Eyes and customers during the shipment process. The objective is to provide clear information about the shipping process to customers.

Definitions

Shipment - A product or collection of products that Tech-Eyes ships to a customers designated delivery address.

Shipping Confirmation - The email message Tech-Eyes sends when an order is sent for shipment, generally containing a tracking number.

Carrier - A third-party courier or postal service that handles the transportation of a shipment from Tech-Eyes to the customer.

Delivery Window - A time frame in which a shipment is predicted to arrive at its destination.

Failed Delivery Attempt - An occasion where the carrier attempts delivery but is unable to complete it.

Shipping Destinations

Currently, Tech-Eyes delivers to addresses in the regions they serve, which are as listed at checkout. Availability depends on the product, carrier coverage, and destination, and some remote, restricted areas may not be covered for delivery. We will inform customers before an order is placed if a destination is outside our shipping zones; other options may be discussed, such as in-store pick-up.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer is supposed to provide a complete and correct delivery address, which includes the unit number, if necessary. Contact details should be updated regularly to guarantee that the customer is aware of all updates regarding delivery. The customer is advised to track the shipment whenever possible and make all necessary arrangements to receive the shipment on time, especially in cases where a signature will be required. In case any address is wrong, it is essential to inform Tech-Eyes about it, ideally before the product is ordered. When the shipment arrives, it is recommended to inspect it right away.

Tech-Eyes Responsibilities

Tech-Eyes commits to:

  • Fulfilling and shipping orders on time as communicated at checkout

  • Using reasonable packaging that resists normal transportation conditions

  • Giving tracking information (if applicable) after an order ships

  • Collaborating with carriers to timely resolve delivery problems

  • Investigating delayed, lost or damaged shipments

  • Providing customers with a reasonable amount of information during shipping.

Shipping Confirmation

Once an order is placed and accepted by the carrier, Tech-Eyes will provide a shipping confirmation including tracking details, if available. Orders placed before 12:00 PM will typically be ready for same-day shipping, whereas those made after 12:00 PM will be arranged for shipping on the next business day. Processing and shipping times are estimates and may be affected by product availability, order volume, payment confirmation, and other operational factors.

Failed Delivery Attempts

If the carrier cannot complete delivery, such as due to no one being present to receive or sign for the package, the shipment may be detained at the local depot, delivery may be arranged for a later time, or the package may be returned to Tech-Eyes as per the carriers own procedures. The customer should follow any instructions the carrier leaves behind or track for updates to arrange for redelivery/alternate pick-up as available.

Lost Shipment Procedure

If a shipment is missing from the store and it has been sent out past the reasonable time frame (the estimated delivery date) and the delivery date has passed, customers should reach out to Tech-Eyes to open an investigation with the carrier. Tech-Eyes will work with the carrier to trace the shipment and, where the loss is confirmed, will arrange a replacement, refund, or other suitable resolution in accordance with applicable company policy.

Delivery Delays

Delivery windows at the checkout and/or shipping confirmation are approximate and do not guarantee delivery. Delays can occur due to carrier volume, weather conditions, customs processing, regional disruptions, or other factors outside Tech-Eyes direct control. If a significant delay is known, Tech-Eyes will do its best to inform affected consumers and provide updated delivery times.

Incorrect Address Changes

If a customer notices an error in their delivery address after placing an order, they should contact Tech-Eyes as soon as possible. Address changes may be accommodated if the order has not yet shipped, though this cannot always be guaranteed depending on processing status. Once a shipment has left Tech-Eyes, address changes are subject to the carriers own policies and may not be possible; any resulting delivery issues will be handled in line with this policys failed delivery and lost shipment provisions.

Partial Shipments

If an order includes more than one item and they are not all available to ship at once, Tech-Eyes may send the order in multiple shipments as products become available. There will be no extra shipping charges for such splits, unless specified in the description at checkout, and each shipment will have its own tracking number (if applicable).

Shipping Restrictions

Certain products may be subject to shipping restrictions due to size, weight, regulatory requirements, carrier limitations, or destination-specific rules. If a product is not suitable for delivery to a chosen address, Tech-Eyes will inform the customer and, if possible, provide other options like store pick-up or delivery to an eligible address.

Customer Communication

Tech-Eyes will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed at each relevant stage, including:

  • Order and shipping confirmation

  • Tracking updates as they become available

  • Notice of any significant delivery delays

  • Failed delivery or redelivery notifications

  • Updates during a lost shipment investigation

  • Resolution once an issue has been addressed

Force Majeure

Tech-Eyes cannot guarantee delivery dates or delivery of certain goods if they are delayed or not delivered due to any cause beyond its reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, disruptions in transportation and shipping, labor disputes, transportation shortages, customs delays, or government action.

Practical Examples

Example 1 - Standard Delivery

Customer places an order, receives a shipping confirmation with tracking information, the package is delivered within the expected time frame, and the order is completed.

Example 2 - Failed Delivery Attempt

A delivery attempt takes place, but no one is available to accept the package; the package is held at the local depot, the customer is notified, and rescheduling or pick-up is scheduled.

Example 3 - Lost Shipment

Package is not moving and is way past the estimated time frame; customer calls Tech-Eyes, investigation starts with the carrier, loss of the package is confirmed, and replacement or refund of the money is arranged.

Example 4 - Address Correction Before Dispatch

Customer realizes that the wrong address was entered after placing the order, contacts Tech-Eyes before order dispatch, and the address is corrected prior to shipment of the order.

Example 5 - Partial Shipment

Order includes two items, but one is currently out of stock, so one of the items is shipped right away, and the other one will be shipped as soon as it becomes available.

This policy is intended to work alongside Tech-Eyes Store Pickup Policy, Return Policy, Refund Policy, and Warranty Policy. Tech-Eyes reserves the right to update shipping procedures, carrier partnerships, delivery timeframes, and supported destinations as its operations evolve.
